I went to Otakon this past weekend and had a great time. It was my first Japanese fan convention ever - I had only been to two auto shows in the past, which were held at the same place (Baltimore Convention Center). I met a few artists that are on dA, which was quite interesting.

I am planning on attending again next year, hopefully pre-ordering a badge this time so I can just walk in on Friday. Yes, I understand that badges must be picked up the night before but I'd rather stand in line the night before rather than on opening day.
